Custom-built bot hosting

Free does not mean a cut-down panel

Your free bot runs through the same bot-hosting platform our engineers built for paid services. It is designed around long-running bots instead of a generic game-server panel.

  • Deploy from Git or upload files in your browser
  • Set startup commands and environment variables
  • Inspect console output and bounded, rotated logs
  • Monitor live CPU, RAM and storage use
  • Change supported runtime versions while persistent files remain
  • Recover automatically after a crash or hosting-node reboot
Direct outbound SMTP ports are blocked to reduce abuse. Use an authenticated email API or relay for legitimate notifications.

Deploy in four steps

How to host a Discord bot for free

Move a lightweight bot from your computer to the HYEHOST platform without configuring a VPS. Have your project files, start command and bot token ready before you begin.

  1. Create the service

Open the HYEHOST panel, choose Free Bot Hosting and select Ashburn in the US or Wolverhampton in the UK.

  2. Select a runtime

Choose Node.js, Python, Java, Bun, Deno or Go and select the version required by your bot.

  3. Deploy your code

Connect a Git repository or upload files in the browser, then add the start command and private environment variables.

  4. Start and verify

Launch the service, follow the live console and test a command. Return to the panel every 30 days to renew it for free.

Keep the bot token private. Store credentials in environment variables and never commit them to a public Git repository. For a complete walkthrough, read our Discord bot hosting guide for Node.js and Python.

Free bot hosting FAQ

Questions before you deploy

Is HYEHOST free Discord bot hosting really free?

Yes. It costs $0 and includes 0.1 CPU (10%), 256 MB RAM, 512 MB storage, one NAT port and a dedicated IPv6 address. You only need to renew the service manually every 30 days.

How does the 30-day renewal work?

Before the current cycle ends, sign in to the HYEHOST panel and renew the service for another 30 days at no cost. Free bot hosting does not renew automatically, so this confirmation is required each month.

Where can I host my free bot?

Choose Ashburn in the United States or Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom when creating the service. Both locations use the same custom HYEHOST bot platform and include the same free-plan resources.

Which programming languages can I use?

The platform supports Node.js, Python, Java, Bun, Deno and Go. Choose a supported runtime version and startup command for your project in the panel.

Can I use the NAT port for a webhook or API?

Yes. The included NAT port can expose one validated inbound service for a webhook, dashboard or HTTP API. Your bot also receives a dedicated IPv6 address.

Does the free plan include the custom HYEHOST panel?

Yes. You get runtime selection, Git deployment, file management, a web console, logs, live metrics and automatic recovery. The main difference from paid plans is the smaller resource allowance and manual monthly renewal.

Does free Discord bot hosting sleep when inactive?

No inactivity sleep is applied to an active free bot service. The platform is designed to keep the bot process running and recover it after common crashes or hosting-node reboots, provided the bot stays within its resource limits and the service is renewed every 30 days.

Is 256 MB RAM enough for a Discord bot?

It can be enough for a lightweight moderation, notification or utility bot with modest dependencies. Image processing, music, AI models, large caches, databases and busy dashboards usually need a paid plan with more memory. Use the live metrics in the panel to measure your bot.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Move to a paid bot-hosting plan when you need more CPU, memory, storage or additional networking capacity. Paid plans start from $1.40 per month.
